Have specific needs? No problem.

We don’t believe a “one size fits all” approach works with an SIS platform. That’s why we’ve engineered MSP to be customizable to fit your specific needs.

Forget “off the shelf”

There is no “off-the-shelf” software product that can explicitly meet all the unique needs and requirements of your institution. This is a problem with most SIS platforms out there.

But with MSP, we can meet your unique operational needs and requirements. We are experts in developing tailored system functionality around our clients’ requests.

Customizations are defined as specific requests that the school determines as beneficial for the users within the organization to have access to.

These enhancements can include central office requirements for summary, roll-up, or school-specific reports, as well as any completely new ideas/enhancements.

Some examples of customizations include, but are not limited to: custom integrations, school-specific reports, and even new modules. 

All school customizations are quoted at $185.00 per hour based on requirements.

Customization Process

We follow a simple and straightforward process when handling all customization requests.

  1. Provide the name, telephone number, and e-mail address of the contact person assigned to oversee the customization.
  2. School will provide all requirements.
  3. MyStudentsProgress will review and approve all requested customized enhancements.
  4. MyStudentsProgress will provide a formal customization quote based on programming hours estimated to complete customization.
  5. MyStudentsProgress will develop a project timeline based on the complexity of requirements.
  6. School will provide formal sign off on customization spec and payment for 50% of total project costs.
  7. MyStudentsProgress will start project upon receipt of 50% down payment.
  8. MyStudentsProgress will contact School once enhancement is complete.
  9. MyStudentsProgress will demonstration and complete beta testing on developmental site.
  10. MyStudentsProgress will provide training to School and receive final approval from the organization.
  11. MyStudentsProgress will schedule release of report based on the School requested timeline.
